Born in Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture. Dropped out of Nagano High School, graduated from Harrisonville High School in Missouri, USA (AFS). Graduated from Hitotsubashi University, Faculty of Law. Became an attorney (Dai-Ichi Tokyo Bar Association) after working in the private sector. Worked at Hori & Partners, graduated from Northwestern University Graduate School (LL.M.), Barack Ferrazzano Kirschbaum & Nagelberg LLP (Chicago), visiting scholar at Stanford University, and Baker & McKenzie (Tokyo Aoyama Aoki Koma Law Office). Joined Ogasawara, Rokugawa & Inaba in 2008. Current position since 2022.
